My journey began in my childhood, where my innate connection to nature and curiosity of the world blossomed. This deep-seated bond with the environment shaped my early dreams and aspirations. However, like many, I found myself navigating the crossroads of career decisions without a compass, feeling the strain of societal expectations. It was a journey through the academic rigors of environmental science, education and personal explorations of wellness that I found my calling.
In 2012, I transformed my passion into purpose with the founding of Sophia Sylvaine Academy. Born from a desire to fuse education with personal growth, SSA is more than an educational institution—it's a sanctuary for holistic development. Here, we don't just prepare students towards career success; we guide them towards fulfilling lives aligned with their true selves and the environment.
Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats — from environmental scientist and project manager leading sustainable development initiatives, to holistic success coach supporting individuals in finding clarity, balance, and purpose. Along the way, I’ve also served as a tutor and career advisor, always guided by a deep commitment to personal and planetary well-being. These experiences taught me the importance of viewing education through a holistic lens. Career planning, to me, isn't just about choosing a profession. It's about weaving one's passions into a tapestry of purposeful living!
